Yikes! Former Bachelorette contestant Yosef Aborady is being called out, and people have receipts.

If you didn’t tune into last night’s episode of season 16, let me catch you up. The episode started with Yosef confronting leading lady Clare Crawley for her choice to have some of the men participate in a game of strip dodgeball. To clarify, Yosef was not on the date, however he still felt as though it was inappropriate enough to talk to Clare about it. Fine.

But what really got Yosef in trouble was how he handled the whole situation. He started off explaining his stance to Clare, letting her know that since he has a young daughter at home, he wouldn’t have stripped on television. Clare was understanding, and even let him know that’s why he wasn’t chosen for that particular group date.

Yosef then started getting more angry, personally insulting Clare and telling her that he was “embarrassed to be associated” with her. It got nasty real quick. At one point, Clare even told him that her mom was dying, and he completely ignored her and continued being super rude.

His actions were uncalled for, and it got even worse from there. The two started yelling at each other, with Clare telling him to leave.

As Yosef was walking away, he delivered the line we’ve heard time and time again from this season’s teasers: “I expected more from the oldest Bachelorette.” Ouch. Clare shot back with the line Bachelor Nation has all been waiting for: “I’m the oldest Bachelorette that’s 39, that’s standing here, that’s single because I didn’t settle for men like that.”

The entire opening was extremely toxic and chaotic. As you’d expect, viewers took to Twitter to air out their complaints about Yosef, and a particular photo started circulating.

Reality Steve, among many, tweeted out a photo which shows Yosef modeling in underwear. Per the Instagram caption shown below, Yosef is apparently a social influencer for a brand called Barkley + Co. You can check out their page here, which features other shots of him posing in boxers.

Interesting. Very interesting. It wouldn’t be a stretch to suspect Yosef joined The Bachelorette just for clout, but why then be so rude to Clare? Perhaps it could’ve been to be remembered and possibly secure a spot on Bachelor in Paradise? Gross.

The Alabama native hasn’t responded to the backlash, but he was watching the episode last night with friends, posting multiple Instagram Stories and posts from the night. Looks like he has no regrets!
