The Bachelorette 2020: Here’s who Clare Crawley decided to send home during The Bachelorette season 16 premiere and who’s still left in the competition.
The Bachelorette season 16 finally premiered Oct. 13 after an extended break with quite a memorable premiere! While the episode started off slowly with a pandemic recap that felt just a tad too lengthy, once we finally arrived at the Bachelor Mansion the action finally got started!
In typical fashion, the fun began with a string of memorable limo entrances, followed by banter between the men and stolen moments with Clare. It all led up to Clare handing out her first roses of the season.

The Bachelorette 2020: Who did Clare Crawley send home during the season 16 premiere?
After getting the chance to speak with, almost, all of her suitors throughout her first night as The Bachelorette, Clare was faced with the difficult task of saying goodbye to the first eight men of the season.
As in past seasons, many of those who were sent home Night 1 happened to be men our latest Bachelorette wasn’t able to spend much one-on-one time within the craziness of the evening. Then there was Tyler Cottrill, who dug his own grave when he tried to stir the pot in calling one of his fellow contestant’s motives into question. The move ultimately backfired, leading to his departure.

The Bachelorette 2020: Who’s left after Week 1?
With the first elimination behind us, there are now 23 men left vying for Clare’s affections and continuing to episode 2 of the season!
Among those left still in the competition are frontrunners Dale Moss and Blake Moynes; knight in shining armor, Chasen Nick; bubble boy Ed Waisbrot; straightjacket donning Jay Smith; adorkable anesthesiologist Joe Park; and Jason Foster, who threw it back to Clare’s original limo entrance with a pregnant stomach gag.
Also still remaining after week 1 is Yosef Aborady, who managed to sneak by week 1 despite having his intentions called out by the not-so-lucky Tyler Cottrill.
