Ready for The Bachelorette season 16? I think I speak for everyone when I say it’s felt like forever since we’ve gotten any new content from the ABC franchise. Thankfully, Clare Crawley’s season is upon us, and we’re ready to meet all of her lucky contestants. Have anyone on your radar yet? We know a thing or two about AJ Yalawan, if you’re interested.

Per his ABC page, AJ “considers himself to be a modern Muslim and is very excited to share his cultural background with Clare.” He’s a true California man and loves surfing and beach volleyball. What was he up to in quarantine before filming for The Bachelorette? He apparently learned how to make candles! Interesting.

In a post from 2018, he posed next to a friend and joked in the caption, “All my friends are getting married, and I still can’t put on matching socks.” Will it be AJ’s time for marriage after he’s done with The Bachelorette? We’ll have to wait and see.
