The Bachelor Season 25 begins production this month!

The Bachelor Season 25 is right on schedule to begin production!
The Bachelor Season 25 looks like it will be taking place right on schedule, barring any COVID-19 related issues, according to a report by Deadline. Given that the bubble filming for Clare Crawley/Tayshia Adams’ season of The Bachelorette seemed to go off without a hitch, ABC is now ready to get Matt James’ started.
In similar fashion to The Bachelorette, The Bachelor Season 25 will film within a bubble to keep all the contestants and Matt James, along with the on-sight crew as safe and healthy as possible. I’m actually quite impressed at how The Bachelorette was able to film seamlessly (well, they did have some non-COVID-19 related hiccups, for sure) without running into health concerns. Whatever ABC did down there worked like a charm, and I think they hope to employ the same efforts on the East Coast for Matt James.
We don’t know anything officially about where The Bachelor Season 25 will be filmed, but according to Bachelor Nation guru Reality Steve, it looks like production could be taking place at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Farmington, Pennsylvania. It’s the very same resort that the Chad Johnson unfolded before his departure during JoJo Fletcher’s season, so it wouldn’t be shocking if this is where they landed on for Matt’s season.
Based on what Reality Steve determined through sources, it looks like the resort is booked from mid-September through Thanksgiving. And then given today’s news, it seems like everything is coming together rather nicely, don’t you think?
I know that things are going to drastically different for both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette but I’m actually looking forward to the change. Leads and contestants will be given a unique opportunity to actually get to know each other without the exotic locales and distractions. Those things aren’t always a good thing, so it’ll be intriguing to see whether or not it makes a difference between the lead and the contestants.
Of course, Bachelor Nation is more than ecstatic to see all this go down (and more) with Matt James as the lead of The Bachelor Season 25. He is the franchise’s first Black Bachelor, and is making history as he makes his mark on Bachelor Nation. Plus, he’s Tyler Cameron’s best friend, so maybe, just maybe, we’ll get a Tyler C. cameo during the season. Dare I say this is going to be one heck of a season–way better than Peter Weber’s season, that’s for sure (sorry, not sorry).
As The Bachelor gets ready to film at the end of this month, we have Clare Crawley/Tayshia Adams’ season of The Bachelorette to look forward to premiering on October 13. With all the crazy things we’ve heard about the upcoming season, it just might be the most dramatic season ever.
Matt James, we wish you the best of luck on your journey to finding love!
