It’s been a few years since The Bachelor Season 21 aired, and life has certainly changed for the lead, Nick Viall, but even more so for a lot of the contestants. While the host of the Viall Files is still looking for love, many of his contestants have settled down and moved on since leaving the series.

Thanks to The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever we’ve been able to go back in time and revisit some of the weirdest, most awkward, and iconic moments from past seasons. But it was Nick Viall’s season that brought forth some of the most memorable moments and contestants.

The Bachelor Season 21 gave us Rachel Lindsay, Corinne Olympios, Raven Gates, and Vanessa Grimaldi–amongst many more. And so many of them went on to become Bachelor Nation favorites, including the outspoken Lindsay who became the first Black Bachelorette.

Vanessa Grimaldi

While Nick and Vanessa left The Bachelor Season 21 very engaged, things didn’t quite work out for them long term. I think Bachelor Nation had an inkling that this might be the case given Vanessa had to move from Canada to the United States, and it wasn’t exactly something she wanted to do.

After parting ways with Nick, Vanessa went on to find love with her fiancé, Josh Wolfe (actually, they just got engaged in August!). The proposal was ridiculously cute and it’s safe to say life has been pretty great for this Bachelor Nation alum.

And in case you’re wondering, her and Nick are on great terms too! In fact, she was just on his Patreon series, Nick V Talks Trash TV, and caught up with her ex-fiancé. Surprisingly, it wasn’t as awkward as one would have expected. Yay for being friends!
