What is the Bachelorette Season 6 winner Roberto Martinez up to now?

The Bachelorette Season 6 ended with Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez engaged. While it seemed like their relationship was rock solid, life in the outside world proved to be much different. They eventually parted ways about a year and a half after their engagement, and each moved on in their respective lives.

As we saw during this week’s episode of The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever Ali Fedotowsky went on to marry radio host Kevin Manno with whom she has two kids. They’re a pretty adorable family, if I do say so myself.

But what about Roberto Martinez?

Well, The Bachelorette Season 6 winner went on to do his own thing in life, and as far as we know, he got engaged earlier this year, according to Us Weekly.  He lives a peaceful life in Colorado as an insurance agent for State Farm, and basically keeps to himself. He doesn’t seem to be an active part of Bachelor Nation, and has essentially left the days of The Bachelorette Season 6 behind him.

I don’t blame the guy, sometimes detaching from this world is the best thing a contestant or a lead can do for themselves. We’ve seen what can happen when you’re too involved in this world–it’s not always rainbows and butterflies.

The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever has been a fun trip down memory lane, especially for those of us who haven’t seen some of these seasons. To be honest, The Bachelorette Season 6 was before I started watching Bachelor Nation shows, so I thoroughly enjoyed getting to watch Ali and Roberto’s romance develop.

They may not have made it together but their love story was one for the ages, and one that we won’t soon forget–especially after all the heartbreak and drama she endured during her season.

Raise your hand if you were in tears during Roberto’s proposal to Ali. (I’m raising my hand real high right now.)
