The Bachelorette Season 16 plot twist we may not see coming!

The Bachelorette Season 16 is all over the Twitterverse as of the last few days. Speculations have been made regarding Clare Crawley leaving the season and Tayshia Adams coming in to replace her. None of this has been officially confirmed by ABC or anyone from The Bachelorette Season 16 production, but at this point, it feels like it is only a matter of time.

I have a feeling that we may hear something during tonight’s episode of The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever if they have enough time to edit it in. But that is, of course, if the speculations are true and this has indeed happened. Given how much the internet is freaking out and the number of people claiming to have legit sources, I’ll be shocked if this isn’t true.

What is the latest rumor?

Well, according to Deadline, allegedly Crawley has left the series because she found “the one” and now Adams is quarantining at the resort to take over the rest of the season. Basically, if this turns out to be true, Deadline has heard that this whole debacle would be included during The Bachelorette Season 16. Instead of “replacing” Clare, it’s likely that the season will show how Clare was the Bachelorette, found love, left the show, and then Adams came in.

I can already see all the previews and commercials that will take place if this ends up being the case. They’re going to have a field day with this one, aren’t they?

Is Clare Crawley back on social media?

Given all the rumors and speculation, one thing stands out amidst all of them. As Deadline pointed out, Crawley’s account had liked a post about Adams taking over as lead on Sunday, but it was unliked by Monday morning.

Since contestants and leads cannot have their phones during filming, does this strike anyone else as odd? Is she back home with the new love of her life and accidentally liked something she shouldn’t have? Come on Clare, you know the internet is full of sleuths!

Whether or not all of this is indeed true will remain a mystery until the network or production confirms that something has been altered here. This would be yet another Bachelor Nation first for the franchise, and it’s not going to be much of a secret ahead of the season premiering, which is unfortunate because we LOVE our plot twists, don’t we?
