Colton Underwood and Lucy Hale–new couple alert? Say what?!

Colton Underwood has been under the spotlight as of recently after his breakup with fellow Bachelor alum, Cassie Randolph. It seemed like things ended on a mutual, respectful note, but took a turn for the worst after Cassie dropped by The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever.

In my opinion, she didn’t really do anything wrong, but that’s a topic for another day (or for another article). In any case, now there are rumors circulating that Colton Underwood may have moved onto the next woman in his life. Some of you will recognize her as Pretty Little Liars’ Lucy Hale.

Dang, Colton, if this is true, you’ve done well for yourself. I love Lucy Hale!

Now, this isn’t officially confirmed by either of them, but the couple was spotted hiking together at the Paseo Miramar Trail in Los Angeles. But I mean, they could just be friends, right? Perhaps they connected over social media, slid into each other’s DMs, an now they’re hanging out. Maybe something could happen, but hasn’t yet.

Honestly, it’s hard to really tell, but sources have alluded to a potential relationship between the two. Lucy Hale did tell Entertainment Tonight literally a day after she was spotted with Colton Underwood that she is single, so who knows. Maybe just friends, maybe they’re dating–we’ll know sooner or later, as we inevitably do.

I think I could actually see Hale and Underwood together. They sort of make sense in my head, and I think if I was ever going to imagine someone from the industry dating Colton Underwood, she’d definitely be on my list of potentials.

Of course, this comes at an awkward time given everything that’s going on with Cassie and Colton. The couple have been at odds after Colton posted a passive-aggressive post signaling out Cassie’s interview on The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever. Unfortunately, her interview was majorly edited to better suit the dramatic nature of Bachelor Nation shows, and it backfired for her in more ways than one.

I hope they’re able to work through what seems to be a major miscommunication, but it seems unlikely given Colton Underwood’s “rise” to fame recently. Between his new book and being a single man, it seems like is living his best life, and it could be drifting him further and further apart from a reconciliation with Cassie.
