The Bachelorette Season 16: The first footage of Clare Crawley is–interesting
By Ariba Bhuvad
The first footage of The Bachelorette season 16 is rather intriguing, to say the least.
The Bachelorette Season 16 has begun filming under very protective measures to keep the cast and crew safe with looming coronavirus concerns. Looking at the footage that Daily Mail released, theres’s one thing that’s certain, the next season of The Bachelorette is going to be weird. While the footage doesn’t show Clare wearing a mask, I can’t help but wonder if at any point her or any of the men will be wearing one.
In any case, all of the crew are wearing masks while filming Clare. It seems like such a weird atmosphere but safety is the number one priority here, so I get it and I’m glad they’re taking it seriously! The video in Daily Mail’s article shows Clare in front of the camera maskless, probably filming an intro video of some sorts (and they’re being socially distant). Side note: She looks adorable!
We haven’t seen any footage of the men just yet, but I’m sure we’ll see some unofficial footage popping up fairly soon. And if you haven’t heard already, there are 42, yes 42 men competing for Clare’s love on The Bachelerotte, although there have been eliminations so that number has gone down since filming began.
For those that don’t know, the entire cast and crew have been quarantined in just one location–the La Quinta Resort & Club in California. No one is going to leave the resort while filming is taking place, and everyone will tested frequently for coronavirus.
Reportedly, everyone was tested when they arrived, then quarantined for about a week, and every three days will be tested (who knows, maybe even more often than that!). Kudos to The Bachelorette production team for keeping everyone as safe as they can while attempting to give us back Bachelor Nation shows.
Stay safe everyone!
