The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart’s Jamie Gabrielle released a single–have you heard it?

The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart was an interesting addition to the Bachelor Nation universe, wasn’t it? I’m still not sure how I feel about it or if I care whether or not they do another season. But I will say that I did enjoy some of the performances–minus the drama that came with them.

I’m not sure if music, love, and drama work in the way The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart was hoping it would. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I just wasn’t sold on it. Whatever the case may be, it seems like the contestants have all been keeping busy with life after leaving the show–like Jamie Gabrielle.

In early June, Jamie dropped her single, “Go To Your Head” which she was very excited to share with the world on her social media. Just in case you’re having a hard time remembering Jamie, she’s the one who would have a panic attack ahead of each performance.

I have to give her props though, she would stress right before the performance, but then always manage to kill it. Maybe those nerves were working in her favor!

Check out “Go To Your Head”!

What is this new single about? Well, Jamie was a very emotional person on The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart and she brings that same sentiment to the single. In an interview with Sounds Like Nashville, Jamie broke down the thought process behind this song, and what it means to her.

"I would always be like, ‘Don’t let it go to your head’ whenever I would compliment someone, and I woke up one morning, and I was like, ‘You know what? No. I want it to go to their head. When you love someone and you care about someone, you should let it go to their head. You should tell them how you feel and be brave."

You know what? I agree with her! It should go to their head. That’s what love is all about, right? Feeling overwhelmed and confident and sexy that someone is into you. You’re speaking the emotions of our heart, Jamie!

After listening to the song, I have to say I’m impressed. It has this sultry, romantic vibe to it, which is always something unique that Jamie brought to the series with her voice. I hope we’ll get to hear more from her in the near future!

In the days since The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart Jamie has kept busy with her music, and doesn’t appear to be in a relationship at the moment. Based on a recent Instagram post, it became clear that she and Trevor Holmes parted ways after leaving the show together.

Be on the look out for more music from Jamie Gabrielle!
