Two contestants from The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart have part ways.

The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart aired its finale nearly a month ago, and it seems we haven’t heard much about some of the couples since then. Well, with the exception of season winners Chris Watson and Bri Strauss who created and released an album during the coronavirus pandemic from the comfort of their homes.

But, what about runner-up couple Trevor Holmes and Jamie Gabrielle?

Well, according to Jamie’s latest Instagram post, the couple is definitely not together. It’s unclear how long this has been the case as there were no updates given during The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart finale.

Based on her post, it seems Jamie has been struggling with opening up about this breakup, which is likely why we haven’t seen either of them post pictures of one another or together since the finale. Sigh, this makes me sad as I actually liked them together. But some things are not meant to be–such is the way of life.

Early on during The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart, Jamie was faced with some drama regarding Trevor and his past. The drama began after contestant Natascha Bessez showed up and made Jamie aware to Trevor’s past of “cheating”. Well, according to him, “emotional cheating”.

It definitely put some doubts in Jamie’s head especially considering she had only been in relationships where she was cheated on. Whether or not that is what split this couple apart is unknown, but for Jamie’s sake, I hope it was something more amicable and mutual. Recalling how sad and brokenhearted she looks when she cries is painful.

Not to mention, I can’t imagine how she must be feeling considering he hasn’t acknowledged the breakup in any way, shape, or form on his social media. But then again, that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Still, it has got to hurt a little bit.

The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart was an interesting addition to the Bachelor franchise, but if I’m being honest, I’m not sure I see it getting another season. It didn’t exactly give us the thrill and excitement that the other shows do. But having said that, I was thankful to have had a Bachelor Nation show to watch considering we won’t be getting anything new until at least the fall.

Here’s to hoping Jamie and Trevor both find love, if not together, than apart.
