The softer side of the Chad Bear

The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever did a great job of covering Chad’s turn as the villain, but the Chad Bear wasn’t only the hot-tempered body builder most of his edit showed. There was at least one moment we saw of Chad when he actually revealed something of a different side to him, during the after party of his group first date.

Though Chad and JoJo didn’t start off the group date so well when Chad called her “a little naggy,” they actually kind of had a sweet moment that evening. Chad revealed he inherited a dog (I’ve seen her on Instagram and she’s precious) from his mom who had recently passed away and who had been his best friend! He then asked her to go make a wish by the wishing well, and the two had what was actually a nice kiss.

Chad then revealed to the camera that he didn’t think it was possible to actually have feelings during this, something I love when contestants reveal. He looked genuinely amazed he felt something for the lead, which went leaps and bounds towards making me believe he actually did.

Though these good feelings didn’t last long, I didn’t feel Chad’s storyline was complete during last night’s episode of The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons Ever without touching on the different side to him we saw. No contestant in the history of the show is truly one-sided, and the show could go a long way in showing us more of each of them!
