Former Bachelor Colton Underwood revealed quite a bit in his newest book, The First Time: Finding Myself and Looking for Love on Reality TV, which definitely had its fair share of shade.

Colton Underwood had a lot to say about his personal life in the book including but not limited to his reality television journey. But what was interested was his “truth” about Hannah Brown–something I definitely have my own thoughts and concerns about. Grab a drink, kick back, and let’s dive deep into what was said about my personal favorite, Hannah Brown!

Colton reveals that during his hometown dates, he had traveled down to Alabama to visit Hannah Godwin’s family, per the show’s timeline. However, there is something that many dedicated, hardcore fans figured out. Something that was not revealed when the episode was originally aired, by the way.

Whatever is this supposed hidden secret that ABC didn’t air? Well, allegedly, it is that an eliminated Hannah Brown dropped in for a visit during Hannah G.’s hometown date and spoke to Colton about her thoughts and feelings.

Say what?!

"She was still stewing about not getting a rose and wanted more clarity from me. In reality, it seemed she wanted to lash out and vent. She went off on the remaining four girls and told me they didn’t have the qualities that made her so amazing. It was the beast in her, roaring and raging."

Now, I have my own opinion regarding this–I definitely think that this likely happened. I mean, we are talking about Hannah “Ms. Speaks Her Heart Out” Brown, the infamous Bachelorette lead that captured the hearts of many because of her honesty. So it’s not crazy to think that this confrontation could have actually happened.

However, I was not here for the possible negative connotation behind this being mentioned after all this time. I mean, why even go there? Colton Underwood, you are a happy man with your happy life, why try to negate a woman’s experience from your past?

Yikes, speaking too much, aren’t I? I just think it is important to remember that Hannah Brown used this moment to speak her truth–as she should. Reading about this in Colton’s book shed some light on the details about the incident. However, it keeps me confident in my love for Hannah B. because when the “beast” wants to do what she wants, there is nothing stopping her.
