Amidst the sea of Bachelor Nation off-season romances rivaling a season of Bachelor in Paradise, Chris Harrison voices his support for yet another pairing – Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan.

To the surprise of everyone except Reddit, The Bachelor’s Peter Weber appears to be giving it a go for a third time–with his Final 5 contestant, Kelley Flanagan. Talk about a good ol’ college try on a successful season. Fans spotted the former lead this past week in Chicago with the woman he let go right before hometowns, attorney Kelley Flanagan. Naturally, Chris Harrison was tasked with giving his thoughts on the recent pairing.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Harrison and his girlfriend, ET Correspondent Lauren Zima, voiced their support for this do-over. Zima, aptly, suggests Flanagan is years ahead of the game with Barb’s stamp of approval, noting “his parents’ opinions are very important [to him]. So, if Mom loves Kelley, then maybe [that] means something.”

I mean, where is the lie? Criticisms aside, if anything was made painfully apparent in Peter’s season finale, it was that Barb’s word is the law of the land. Markedly, Barb’s outward support for Kelley, Peter aside, was one of the clues Reddit sleuthers latched onto with their Kelley conspiracy theories – out of all the contestants, Peter’s entire family, down to his brother and his girlfriend, followed Kelley on Instagram while the season aired.

“We need to do lunch and go shopping for the day. ❤️” Barb commented on the above post by Flanagan. The trend of vocal approval by the Webers, in tandem with Flanagan’s brief, unaddressed appearance on ATFR, certainly raised suspicions. Suspicions which, all things considered, were confirmed with Weber’s spotting in Chicago hoisting Flanagan over his shoulder like the knapsack Barb kicked him out of the house with post-finale.

Grandfather host of the franchise, Chris Harrison, following Zima’s lead, seconded their seal of approval for the couple.

"I would just say this, and not about any specific couple, but if any of these people can find love, if any of them find a great stable relationship that makes each other happy, then God bless them. If you’ve learned anything from our show, it’s that love comes in crazy ways, and Lauren and I have found the same thing in our own private life."

The trend of quarantine and reunite with exes has been rampant through Bachelor Nation; accordingly, Harrison emphasized what we’ve all been thinking – STOP GOING TO THE PARK. He ended his remarks urging, “I would say to anybody, no matter if you’re a part of [my] Bachelor family or any family, be smart, social distance.” Kelley and Peter, if you’re reading this (they’re not), please follow Hannah and Tyler’s lead, start a TikTok, and promptly evacuate public places.

However, while Weber may have earned Harrison’s support in this endeavor, he clearly did not clue Hannah Ann in on this reunion – nor did Flanagan. That said, Hannah Ann continues to take the high road, simply noting she “really wasn’t that surprised…I’ve moved on, Peter’s moved on, we’re both able to do what we want.” Continued campaign for Justice for Hannah Ann.
