Bachelor in Paradise: Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour’s surprise engagement party!

Bachelor in Paradise couple Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour celebrate their upcoming nuptials with a surprise engagement party–and it was freaking adorable!
Bachelor in Paradise season 6 may have ended with more than one couple engaged, but nearly half a year later, only one couple remains standing. The adorable Hannah G. and Dylan Barbour are going stronger than ever since their days on Paradise, and recently celebrated their engagement with friends and family.
Just when we thought they couldn’t get cuter…they do, and it’s absolutely nauseating in the most beautiful of ways. I can’t help but think back to the Bachelor in Paradise days when Dylan was hoping to end up with Hannah G.
For a while, it was touch and go but in the end, the two ended up together and are happier than ever could be. Their surprise engagement soiree was the event of the season (seriously, I’m not exaggerating), with Bachelor Nation alums all coming together to celebrate the couple.
In fact, exes Hannah Brown and Jed Wyatt were there which makes us wonder–did they just ignore each other? Also, Wyatt’s girlfriend was there with him so talk about awwwwwkward. What we would do to be a fly on the wall at this party. Imagine the things we would have seen and heard!
Along with Wyatt and Brown, Peter Weber, Mike Johnson, Luke Stone, Heather Martin, Demi Burnett, Katie Morton, Matt Donald, along with others were all there for the extravagant event in the Hollywood Hills.
According to the PEOPLE exclusive, both Godwin and Barbour were dressed to the tee with designer clothing and even a luxury concierge service. Talk about fancy! How far our Bachelor in Paradise lovebirds have come.
Perhaps in the next season of Paradise, we’ll get to see their wedding televised. Although, the last couple to do so is now divorced. So, maybe it’s not the best thing…
Stephen McGee of Bravo’s Summer House! was the event planner for the party, and let me just say, he did not disappoint. Did ya’ll see the adorable decor?? I loved the neon “Hannah + Dylan” sign! Oh, and they had desserts from Magnolia Bakery.
With the engagement party officially out of the way–what are the couple’s wedding plans?
"We haven’t planned it. This was just more of a celebration and getting all of our families and friends in one place, because getting engaged is a huge life thing, and it’s crazy that Dylan hadn’t even — he’d met most of my friends, but some of my childhood best friends live far away. He hadn’t met with them, and vice versa. So it was just a celebration of commitment."
Well, we look forward to seeing what the future has in store for this Bachelor in Paradise couple. As long as they stay together forever and ever, we’re good.
