Bachelor in Paradise alum Demi Burnett has a new man in her life!
Bachelor in Paradise feels like a lifetime ago, doesn’t it? When three couples walked away engaged, but only one still remains (yay, Hannah G. and Dylan!). Of course, since the sunny, tropical days of Bachelor in Paradise, Katie and Chris along with Kristian and Demi have since then broken up.
Finding love elsewhere these days is Ms. Demi Burnett, who just celebrated her 25th birthday this week. Who is this mysterious person? An LA-based artist by the name of Slater Davis. She took to Instagram to share a picture of the two of them about to lock lips, and naturally, Bachelor Nation is responding with a frenzy.
Most of these comments have to do with her sexuality, with some folks asking her why she’s with a guy now. If memory serves correctly, Demi has said more than once that she is bi and into both men and women, and she did have quite the abrupt response for someone who was attacking her for now being with a guy.
At first, Davis and Burnett’s relationship wasn’t official, at least not on social media. Previous posts of the two of them seemed more friendly, but after they both shared a lovey-dovey post, it became social media official.
I’m sure Bachelor Nation is wondering what happened to the Nick Viall and Demi rumors, but we can now safely say, they are truly not together. Viall said as much after rumors went rampant about him and Demi dating after she was seen at his apartment. Bachelor Nation, you realize a lot of these guys are good friends, right?
"Demi is a close friend, a dear friend. We’ve become close, and I care very much about her. Demi has in fact been to my place, as sometimes friends do go to each other’s places."
We are excited about Demi’s new relationship, and hopefully, we get to learn more about her new guy in the days to come. Bachelor in Paradise is long behind her, but the future is looking bright with 25 years under her belt.
