The Bachelor season 24, episode 7: High stakes before hometown dates

Peter’s journey for love continued in Peru this week on The Bachelor. Fewer women meant less drama, and, as such, everyone had more time with Peter. However, the tension was strong–it’s the week before hometown dates.

This week’s episode of The Bachelor took everyone to Lima, Peru. Peter had a serious sit-down talk with all the ladies. He told them to really think about how serious this is and wanted to be sure they’re in it for the long-term. Natasha expressed how nervous she was because she hadn’t been on a one-on-one date yet, and hometowns are rapidly approaching. But, alas, when the date card arrived, it had Madison’s name on it.

Peter was thrilled to have his forehead bandage off. He and Madison explored Peru together and sailed around on a boat catching fish. They had a very intimate chat during their dinner later that day. Peter even said he was falling in love with Madison. Peter was smiling from ear to ear. It was great seeing him so cheerful!

Natasha was excited to hear her name on the next date card. They had a fun time walking around Peru together. These dates have included quite a bit of walking for our taste. During their evening “meal”, Peter realized he wasn’t there yet with Natasha. As such, he didn’t give her a date rose, and they parted ways.

Kelsey was the lucky recipient of the last individual date. Peter and Kelsey had an adventurous time riding ATVs around the countryside (after which, Peter was oddly…winded?). At dinner, Kelsey shared more on her difficult relationship with her dad; moreover, she told Peter that her mom wasn’t aware that she and her dad had been in contact. Their time spent together was great, and Peter gave her a rose.

The last date of the week was a three-on-one date with Hannah Ann, Kelley, and Victoria F. Hannah Ann shared a love note, which included all the reasons she’s falling in love with Peter. On the other hand, Kelley’s conversation with Peter was more casual. He didn’t like her referring to the experience as “fun”.

After that, he had quite a tense conversation with Victoria F. Despite this road bump, he gave the first of two roses to Victoria F. Ultimately, Hannah Ann received the final hometown date, and Peter decided to send Kelley home.

So, there you have it. Your hometown recipients are Madi, Kelsey, Victoria F., and Hannah Ann. Next week, we’ll be heading to Auburn, Des Moines, Virginia Beach, and Knoxville! How will the dates go? We’ll need to wait till next week to see what happens on The Bachelor!
