Last night’s episode of The Bachelor certainly did not have a shortage of drama. Did anyone come out unscathed?

The Bachelor finally brought the conclusion of the Alayah saga, a trip (finally) outside the US, Peter’s outrageous “puma” injury, and a waterfall composed of Kelsey tears were all part of Monday night’s three-hour long episode of The Bachelor.

The claws were definitely out, but who fought their way to the top of the volcano? Who found themselves slipping and sliding all the way down to the bottom?

We have some thoughts on that with this week’s power rankings below. Don’t forget to share your thoughts in the comments!

1. Sydney

Climbing her way into first place in this week’s power rankings is Sassy Sydney, who had her first victory of the night after Pilot Pete sent Queen Bee Alayah home once again (thank goodness). She then received a one-on-one date once the group (finally) left glamorous Cleveland for the jungles of Costa Rica.

Peter and Sydney got hot and heavy multiple times on the date (hello, waterfall make-out) and Sydney’s super soft lips and amazing kissing skills secured her place in Peter’s pants. Or rather, his heart.

She snagged that rose faster than Peter’s confused brain can flip-flop on who’s here for the right reasons, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this physical connection continues all the way to Fantasy Suites. Who needs emotions when your hands and below the belt bits can do all the talking for you?

2. Kelsey

Coming in a surprising second place in the rankings is I-Can’t-Stop-Crying Kelsey. Give this girl a Kleenex ad ASAP.

From #ChampagneGate to her rational, reasonable comeback on last week’s one-on-one to this week’s sob fest next to the pool, Kelsey has taken us on a water-logged journey that appears to have no end in sight.

Her drinking/crying combo caused Tammy to comfort her then immediately call her an alcoholic who is emotionally unstable behind Kelsey’s back to our Bachelor. Not the move, Tammy. Really not the move.

This made Kelsey feel like she had to defend herself and go rogue during the middle of the day to set things straight with Peter. She somehow found him, cried some more, and Pilot Pete just happened to have a rose on-hand shoved into the couch that he popped out and shoved in Kelsey’s face to shut her up. I mean, reassure her that things with them are great! How convenient.

The other ladies did not take this well AT ALL, but Kelsey is sitting pretty with our Bachelor and is not getting off of this emotional roller coaster she’s somehow both riding and controlling all by her lonesome.

3. Um?

Rounding out the top three from Monday night is…..umm, honestly, no one really stood out so I’m calling it a three-way tie. Maybe that’s a cop-out, but you can’t tell me another girl really flew her way ahead of the group.

Our third spot goes to Too-Logical-for-This-Show Kelley, Cosmo-Cover-Wannabe Victoria F., and Minimal-Screen-Time-This-Episode Hannah Ann, each of whom Peter seems reasonably into and who were either rewarded with roses, make-outs–or both.

They’re here, they really aren’t causing waves this week, but they also aren’t letting our Bachelor forget them, so it’s a tie. Which, I know, is about as exciting as Kelley’s one-on-one date. Snooze. Perhaps they will give us more to work with on Wednesday’s episode of The Bachelor?

So there you have our top three!….ish. Tune in Wednesday for another round of The Bachelor this week to see if we can finally get past the drama and get to know our remaining contestants! Highly unlikely, but one can only hope.

Were you surprised by Kelsey’s surge? Can you break the three-way tie, or are you too fumbled by all the drama as well? Let us know in the comments!
