Chase Rice finally speaks out about the Victoria F. drama on this week’s episode of The Bachelor.

The Bachelor is known for creating all sorts of awkward and weird situations for its contestants. That includes but is not limited to tricking musicians into performing for their exes while they’re on a date, which is exactly what happened this week.

After scoring a one-on-one date with Peter, Victoria F. was treated to the Cedar Park amusement park, which they got all to themselves. It was a pretty awesome date which ended with their very own personal concert.

Cool, right? WRONG. In fact, super, super awkward. As it turns out, Victoria F. dated Chase Rice briefly before coming onto The Bachelor. And after all the drama, memes, and speculation this week, Rice is finally speaking out about what went down.

According to him, his trainer’s wife reached out to him before he went to perform a concert on The Bachelor. She, like many of us, hunts the internet for spoilers and happened to find out that Rice’s ex, Victoria F., was on the current season.

At the time, Rice didn’t think much of it and figured there was no way their paths would cross. Oh boy, was he wrong or what?

"I didn’t love it. But that’s reality TV for you — I think they just gotta stir things up. I didn’t think that they would pull me into it like that."

Has he never watched reality television before?

Regardless of how things went down in The Bachelor, things worked out just fine for dear ‘ol Rice. Not only was he the talk of the Twitterverse, but his music has been taking off since then. Nothing like Bachelor Nation empathy to make you rise on the charts.

Like literally climb the charts. His album, “The Album Part I,” just dropped and is already the No. 1 country album on the iTunes charts. Dang, The Bachelor really does bring magic into people’s lives.

Chase Rice may not have gotten his happy ending with Bachelor contestant Victoria F., but I’d say things worked out just fine for our country singer. And something tells me, he’s going to be just fine.
