Same-sex couples

The most recent season of Bachelor in Paradise made history when it gave the franchise it’s first-ever same-sex couple via Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty. But when this moment finally did take place, it got many of us wondering–why isn’t there a Bachelor Nation show specifically for same-sex couples?

I think this would be a great addition to the shows we already have. And considering the franchise hasn’t dabbled in it the slightest bit, it’d be a welcome and refreshing change. It’s due time that the shows expand to be more inclusive. It shouldn’t have taken this long for the first same-sex couple, so there is definitely an opportunity here to remedy that.

Bachelor Nation meets Hollywood

Okay, so hear me out on this one. After this past year of Bachelor Nation shows, one thing has become clear. Hollywood is so into the contestants after the fact. We’ve got a couple of examples with Tyler Cameron and Gigi Hadid, and even the flirtatious banter between Mike Johnson and Demi Lovato.

What if single celebrities were also a part of the show? I think there are about a million different ways that they could go about this so let’s think this out. One option could be the celebrity is the leading man or woman of the season or the contestants are all celebrities and the lead person is just a random person.

I’m not sure this would be the best idea of the ones I’ve suggested, but I think it’d be a fun thing to see play out. Especially since some of the contestants did catch the eyes of A-listers not long after they finished their run on Bachelor Nation shows. The relationships weren’t quite official, but hey, it gave us a lot to speculate and talk about. And that sure was fun, wasn’t it?
