Dating a former Bachelorette contestant is the hot new trend

The temperature rises both literally and figuratively as the two connect with hot physical intensity, but will they be able to relate on a deeper, emotional level? Another man surprises Hannah with a late-night visit to proclaim his feelings for her. If you didn’t find love on the Bachelorette, don’t worry, you’ll probably end up dating an A-list celebrity.

The Bachelorette didn’t give contestants Tyler Cameron and Mike Johnson a happy ending. Brokenhearted, they left the series unsure of when they might find love again. Luckily for them, they didn’t have to rough out the single life for too long. While nothing has been officially confirmed by either party, they are both involved with some popular celebrities.

Let’s start with Tyler C. Soon after Hannah Brown sent him home on proposal day (big mistake!), he managed to snag the attention of one particular supermodel–Gigi Hadid. What started as an Instagram follow soon culminated in dates and hanging out.

Paparazzi have caught pictures of them out and about, and Cameron allegedly flew to the Netherlands to attend Hadid’s grandmother’s funeral. Suffice to say, things went from 0 to 60 real fast. We have yet to hear official confirmation from either of them.

Now, moving onto Mike Johnson. He too had his heart broken on The Bachelorette and then went looking for a second chance on Bachelor in Paradise. That didn’t work out so well for him either but all the while, he too had the attention of a celebrity–Demi Lovato.

Social media seems to do wonders for these guys and that is exactly where Lovato and Johnson first began flirting. There are now reports that the two have been hanging out and getting to know one another. And yup, you guessed it, no official confirmation from them either.

I’m not sure what’s in the air but having a previous contestant of the Bachelorette on your arm is the “it” thing this season. Which takes us to the super official and engaged couple of Wells Adams and Sarah Hyland. Adams was on JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette but eventually cozied up with Hyland (star of Modern Family).

Their love story did indeed give them a happy ending as they are engaged to be married. And extremely adorable at that.

What’s the lesson here, folks? Well, if you’re on The Bachelorette and you don’t find love, don’t worry, there just might be a Gigi Hadid, Demi Lovato, or Sarah Hyland waiting for you on the other side.
