Bachelor in Paradise had an interesting surprise in store for us this week–and we’re not sure how we feel about it.

Bachelor in Paradise is inching closer and closer to the finish line, and I have to say, I have no idea what’s going to happen. Every time I’m certain that couples are solidified and set for an engagement, something comes up and completely butchers the idea.

Which brings us to the second episode of Bachelor in Paradise this week. A lot went down but one thing, in particular, has really thrown everyone for a loop–the return of Dean Unglert sans mustache. Whatever did he want? One guess guys, one guess.

After leaving the beaches of Paradise, Unglert returned home, drove to Grand Canyon, and came to the realization that he wanted to be with Caelynn Miller-Keyes in his life. This prompted his return to Mexico so he could ask Caelynn to leave Paradise with him.

Now, I have some feelings about this whole situation. First off, after Dean dumped Caelynn, she was able to move on with Connor Saeli. I’ll be the first to admit that Caelynn has been all over the place this season and her thoughts and decisions often don’t make sense. But I do not think it’s fair for Dean to come back the way he did.

It’s unfair to Caelynn, it’s unfair to Connor, it’s just unfair to the entire process of Bachelor in Paradise. While all the dramatics may be suited for television, it’s messed up to screw around with someone like that. That’s just my opinion, though.

I appreciate that Dean returned because he realized his mistakes, but something just feels off about it. Myself, along with Bachelor Nation, are curious to learn what Caelynn’s decision will be, although I’m pretty certain I have an idea. For those that read spoilers, you may already know what their current situation is, but I shall wait and see how it unfolds on next week’s episode.
