She wasn’t everyone’s favorite pick going in, but now Hannah Brown is leading the Bachelorette. Here’s why you should give her a chance!

We’ll admit it: like a large portion of Bachelor Nation, we, too, were skeptical when it was announced that Hannah Brown was chosen as the new Bachelorette. The Beast was a controversial figure during her time on The Bachelor, especially when she was going head to head with fellow pageant queen Caelynn Miller-Keyes.

However, every season has its controversies surrounding the pick. Even Colton Underwood wasn’t exactly a fan favorite for most of his episodes and now his season is being hailed as one of the most dramatic ever. It felt worth giving Hannah Brown a chance to prove herself.

Now that The Bachelorette premiere is behind her, our doubts are starting to fade. Sure, she still gets a little awkward (Can we talk about that roar she shared with Luke Parker? Yikes), but she’s proving that she’s more than up to the task. Even host Chris Harrison, who once called her upcoming season a “trainwreck,” has admitted that she’s proved herself.
