Lauren Bushnell has moved on and now she’s saying that Ben Higgins never had her “whole heart.” Read the Insta comments she has since deleted.

Obviously, Bachelor Nation is not unfamiliar with drama. As fans of The Bachelor and Bachelorette, we literally spend week after week watching men and women getting dumped for sport. Still, it’s always extra fascinating to see when the drama carries over past the end of a season. Or, in the case of formerly engaged couple Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins, well past the end of a season.

Under an Instagram photo of herself and new boyfriend Chris Lane, Lauren Bushnell wrote “my whole heart.” A follower was quick to point out, “Haven’t your last 3 boyfriends been your whole heart?” The string of comments having since been deleted, but Bushnell was reportedly pretty quick to respond.

"Honestly no. I mean that’s the truth. Lol looking back now that I know what it’s supposed to feel like — they did not I just wanted them to."

Hmm. . . do you buy her response? After all, it is always easier to look back on a failed relationship after the fact and then decide that you were never really in it all the way.

That being said, Lauren Bushnell and Chris Lane look genuinely very happy together. As rumors of an engagement have been floating around for quite a while now, it could definitely make sense to say that they are a perfect fit, rather than something forced like what she had with Ben Higgins during her time on The Bachelor.

It’s interesting to note that the comments have reportedly been deleted from Instagram. Did Lauren regret making such a definitive statement online? Does she still worry about protecting Ben’s feelings? Or was she simply dissatisfied with how her comments came across? As the comment has blown up with media outlets since she posted it, it’s probably safe to say that deleting them was her cleanest option.
