Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette hasn’t even started, but the drama is already way too real. See what women are saying about one of the suitors.

Every season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, there’s always at least one contestant who makes waves before ever even appearing on our small screens. During Colton Underwood’s season, it was Tracy who got called out for some insensitive tweets. For Hannah Brown’s season of the show, it looks like contestant Matt D. is already the one picking up fan attention.

We got our first look at Matt D. when The Bachelorette released the images of Hannah’s men a little early (check that out here). He’s 31, he’s from Winter Springs, Florida and, although the brief bio wouldn’t tell you, the “D” stands for Dione.

As with any new season, the first pictures gained a lot of traction on line. While many of the comments were thirst tweets or savage insults, one post stood out above the rest: a Twitter user named Sam Smithburger wrote that she had a personal experience with good ole’ Matt D.

This user’s comments were kept simple and to the point. She claimed that Matt D. had been hanging out in her DMs for at least two years and, even better, she still had the DMs to actually prove it.

The tweet, of course, went totally viral. It wasn’t long before other users were hopping on to share their experiences with The Bachelorette’s newest contestant.

One of these users went on to comment that Matt D. has been “removed from the show.” However, this is the first time we’ve seen anything about a possible exit online. If this turns out to be true, we’ll definitely keep fans updated here.

Now let’s state the obvious here. We live in the golden age of technology and any picture can be fixed up to look bad and any story can be spun out of proportion. As of right now, we’re only getting the girls’ perspective on how things went down with Matt D., so there may be more to the story yet.

That being said, if he has truly been as “crazy” as they claim or if he was persistently coming after a girl in her DMs for two whole years, this could be indicative of a larger problem. We may see Matt D. in the heart of drama during Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. We may even hear more stories coming out as time goes on.
