3. Colton (finally) jumped the fence

Oh man, the fence jump! We waited All. Freakin. Season to see this scene!

Seriously, Chris Harrison and company had been teasing Colton’s famous jump since the very first promos for the series. Chris always promises that the current season will be “the most dramatic yet,” but this time it seemed to really deliver.

In case you need a recap (or just want to relive the glory of that powerful moment), the jump came as a result of Colton and Cassie’s dramatic breakup. Cassie had spent the majority of the series feeling wishy-washy about her feelings for the Bachelor and so she finally decided to cut the cord during Fantasy Suite week. Colton freaked out and so, naturally, he took the only way out of Portugal: he jumped an eight foot fence and disappeared into the countryside.

Every moment of this two-episode scene was dramatic. The best part though? Chris Harrison’s reaction to the drama. Our main man dropped an F-bomb when he realized Colton was gone and it really made the seriousness of the situation hit home. Chris even talked about calling the police if Colton had been gone for much longer!

Poor Hannah B. For her season of The Bachelorette to top Colton’s finale, she’s going to have to start practicing that high jump early. . .
