With Colton down to his final four, let’s take a closer look at each of his remaining ladies. Here we break down Tayshia Adams’ chances of winning.

Tayshia Adams has never seemed to struggle this season, despite having what some might call a slower start getting to know the Bachelor Colton Underwood. After last week’s drama in Denver, though, she is mired in controversy with her fellow competitors and fans alike.

She’s still in the game for now! So what are her chances of winning it all? Let’s check out her pros and cons list!

Pros

  • She’s had two one-on-one dates with Colton. This is always a great sign for a contestant. She was the first woman in the house to get to double dip, which may mean that Colton was eager to reconnect with her.
  • She’s an older contestant, which may indicate more of a readiness for long-term commitment. Obviously, age does not always indicate maturity. However, several solid years separate Tayshia Adams from her fellow contestants. Could this little bit of added life experience give her the edge when Colton is weighing who is actually ready for a commitment?
  • Colton saved her last week despite controversy. This little tidbit is actually pretty significant. Colton has shown more than once on his season of The Bachelor that if you get in the mud with another contestant, there’s a decent chance he won’t let you survive. Remember when he gave both Onyeka and Nicole the ax for letting drama brew between them?Despite all the tears and fighting that came up last week as a result of Tayshia’s testimonial, Colton still chose to keep her around. This is a strong indicator that he cares deeply for her and at the very least wants to believe her.

Cons

  • The drama between her and Cassie/Caelynn won’t slow down any time soon. Tayshia’s last encounter with the other women ended on a distinctly sour note. While hometowns may serve as a buffer to give Cassie and Caelynn time to calm down and move on, there seems to be an equal chance that these wounds will simply fester. With two women looking to take you down (keep in mind, that’s half of our remaining total), it could be an uphill battle for Tayshia to remain in the game.
  • Her dad stands in the way. Next week’s episode preview (check that out here) showed Tayshia introducing Colton to her family. She had warned Colton that Daddy Adams might not be so open to the experience and it looks like that’s definitely how things are going to play out. If her father takes a firm “no can do” stance with Colton, that might be enough for the Bachelor to end things on the spot.
  • She potentially has some secrets that might still come out. It was recently revealed that Tayshia had a boyfriend she was exclusively seeing right up until filming began for The Bachelor. While she has disclosed information about her prior relationships to Colton, we have yet to see her really dive into that more current and strong romance with her ex. This exchange may have happened and ABC simply chose not to air it, but we’re more inclined to believe that it has yet to go down. If Tayshia opens up and Colton feels threatened, this could spell the end for her.

Alright, Bachelor Nation: what do you think? Is Tayshia Adams this season’s winner?  Forget which side your on in the Bachelor Holy War and really think about how Colton is responding to this gorgeous phlebotomist.
