The Bachelor episode 8 preview: Dads sure don’t seem into Colton
The Bachelor returns for episode 8 on Monday night. Here’s a handy breakdown of everything we’ve learned from the episode trailer.
Finally, it seems we can put the feuds of The Bachelor behind us as Colton heads to hometowns for week 8. The end is nigh, ladies and gents! Check out the official ABC episode sneak peek here and then read on for our full preview breakdown below. There’s a lot to look forward to.
High-flying adventure
Colton kicks off the promo by jumping out of an airplane. Honestly, I’d never survive on The Bachelor with all of these dates that involve jumping from high places.
We can’t make out which lucky lady is on the plane with him. Someone is looking to make quite the impression though!
First hellos
Cut to Hannah G., who shares an intimate family greeting with Colton. Next, Caelynn opts for a more ostentatious affair. Looks like she’ll be throwing a full-on BBQ to welcome Colton to her corner of the South.
Side note: Caelynn looks just like her parents. One of the most fun things about hometowns is seeing what a contestant’s family is like. Caelynn looks like a carbon copy of mom and dad!
Daddy warnings
Tayshia gets the awkward out of the way by immediately warning Colton that her dad might have some hesitations about The Bachelor. Naturally, when we get our first clip of her dad, he’s jumping right in with his concerns. Colton broaches the topic of getting his blessing and this does not look like it’s going over too well.
Reserving judgement
At Cassie’s house, her dad (we assume) gives the usual season warning: “He’s still dating three other girls!” Cassie doesn’t seem to have any patience for her dad’s caution.
Later, he goes on to comment that he prefers not to judge too quickly. The Bachelor might still fare well in House Randolph.
Red flags
Colton looks worried as he talks about relationship “warning signs.” Ok. . . we’ve seen him looking tragic all season, so this is nothing new. Call us when you’ve figured out who is really here for the right reasons, man!
This week’s a big one and we can’t wait to dive in. Who do you think will make it out of hometowns alive?
