With Colton down to his final four, let’s take a closer look at each of his remaining ladies. Here we break down Cassie Randolph’s chances of winning.
You’d have to be blind not to see the connection between Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood on this season of The Bachelor. From the moment she stepped out of that limo and pulled out that butterfly box, she had his attention. They’ve been making out in bed and on teeny tiny islands ever since.
So what are her chances of taking home that final rose? Let’s check out her pros and cons list!
Pros
- She’s recovered from some major blunders with Kirpa. Last week saw Cassie and Kirpa duking it out after the latter contestant told Colton that she didn’t think his favorite speech pathologist was around for the right reasons. After making both ladies wait for his final verdict, Colton finally picked Cassie to stick around for hometowns. Sure, his decision may have been swayed by a compelling testimony from Caelynn Miller-Keyes, but it’s still very apparent that he wants Cassie Randolph to stay in the game.
- She shared a vulnerable moment with him on their one-on-one. Although Bachelor Nation initially mocked Cassie for “coming out as a non-virgin,” her confession to Colton was actually pretty significant. If you know anything about her Christian past (seriously, you should read all about that here), then you know that losing her virginity was a BFD. Vulnerable moments can take contestants a long way on The Bachelor, and Colton especially seems to be a leading man who values openness.
- Colton can’t keep his hands off of her. Can these two just get a room already? Their physical connection is absolutely insane. Cassie and Colton spent their entire one-on-one making out! Sure, he’s shared kisses with other women, but it’s clear that he has a special chemistry with Cassie.
Cons
- Tayshia and Kirpa may have planted some doubts about Cassie in Colton’s mind. This is an obvious uh-oh for Cassie Randolph. Kirpa may have made her exit from The Bachelor, but Tayshia is still around to let Colton know what she thinks. There may not have been substantial proof that Cassie was on the show for the wrong reasons, but a tiny bit of doubt may be all Colton needs to send her packing.
- She’s still very young. Ya girl is only 23! Statistically, that’s still pretty dang young to be tying the knot. That being said, we don’t think this particular con will work too hard against her. Contestants on The Bachelor are notoriously young and things still manage to work out for them.
- She’s only had a single one-on-one date. Some women on the show have already doubled up on dates with Colton. Last week’s episode saw both Tayshia and Caelynn receiving their second one-on-ones, which is always a good sign for their connection to The Bachelor. Cassie has only been on a single one-on-one date with Colton, which could impede their ability to get to know each other on the same level as some of the newly doubled up contestants.
Alright, Bachelor Nation: what do you think? Is Cassie this season’s winner? She may have had her troubles in week 7, but this Cali girl is holding on.
