Who will be the next woman to become the Bachelorette? Here we take our best guesses and try to figure out what creator Mike Fleiss has up his sleeve.

It all started with a fairly innocuous Tweet from Bachelorette creator Mike Fleiss, who asked the internet to let him know who could be the Bachelorette on season 15.

As you’d guess, the internet went crazy.

Suggestions ranged from the grossly misspelled (“Kurba”) to the actually legit. A few favorites from this season quickly emerged. Elyse was a popular reply, despite the shady nature of her exit (check out our fan theory on all that drama here) and Tayshia was a recurring name, despite still being a current contestant on the show. There were also some controversial picks in there, like Hannah B. and Caelynn, who have led the Bachelor Nation community to pick sides between the two of them.

Honestly, though, there is a standout for the Bachelorette and it may not be who you think.

Many astute Bachelor fans pointed out that Danielle Maltby seemed like the heir apparent to the Bachelorette throne. Remember her? How could you not! Sweet Danielle was on Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor. She had a tragic backstory about a fiance who died from an overdose, but she rose above the sadness and became one of the most sympathetic girls to ever grace the mansion halls.

Fans pointed out on Fleiss’ Twitter thread that Maltby seems to be getting set up to take on the role of Bachelorette. She has appeared in some noteworthy interviews lately and has consistently been in headlines since she had a nasty breakup with Big Brother star Paul Calafiore. The world wants to see her getting another shot at love!

Check out one of her funny Jimmy Kimmel videos below:

This wouldn’t be the first time that The Bachelor or The Bachelorette has dug back a few seasons to find its star. Nick Viall himself was old news when he first took the lead. It’s entirely possible that we could see Danielle in promos a few months from now.

What do you think? Is she right for the role? Or is one of Colton’s ladies a better fit? Be sure to let us know your hot take in the comments!
