Bachelor in Paradise: Did the show get renewed for season 6?
Even though this season of The Bachelor is still going strong, we’re already excited to see Bachelor in Paradise return! Did the series get renewed?
Ah, Bachelor in Paradise. Who doesn’t love those white sandy beaches, the endless drunken confrontations or the unlikely hookups? I haven’t run the numbers, but sometimes it seems like Paradise is having a higher success rate than the other Bachelor shows. After all, it gave us Carly and Evan! Jade and Tanner! Countless more couples are engaged or still dating.
However, Bachelor in Paradise is one of the newer Bachelor series, which means that its status with ABC isn’t a guarantee. Was it renewed for a riveting sixth season?
Praise be, I can tell you YES! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bachelor in Paradise officially has the green light. Unfortunately, details on the new season are tough to find at this time. We know that it will probably premiere in August sometime after The Bachelorette, but we have no idea what date it will start and who will return to star in the series.
I guess that leaves us to wildly speculate! There are more than a few ladies from Colton’s season that we would love to see hitting Bachelor in Paradise.
As for those who have already left the show, Elyse Dehlbom is perhaps the most obvious pick. She was a fan favorite contestant right off the bat and her early exit from the series was a major shocker. While it certainly hasn’t been confirmed, we have a strong suspicion that Elyse was only on Colton’s season to find her way to Bachelor in Paradise. You can read all about our conspiracy theory here.
We’d also love to see Catherine Agro storm the beaches. This early villain left the show before she ever got a chance to actually do something horrible. She has said in interviews that she’d be open to Bachelor in Paradise; we hope to see her there!
As for the players still left in the game, we’d love to see Hannah G., Caelynn, Cassie or Tayshia returning for another chance at love. There’s a high chance that one of these front-runners will steal Colton’s heart, but Bachelor in Paradise will happily take his leftovers!
