THE BACHELORETTE – “Episode 1402” – Twenty-one men – still reeling from the dramatic first rose ceremony – look to get their love story with Becca off to a good start as they move into the mansion. Fan-favorite Bachelorette couple Rachel and Bryan put eight of the bachelors through their paces in an obstacle course meant to test their abilities as a groom. 7. Rachel Lindsay

The love for Bachelor contestant Rachel Lindsay was pretty much immediate.

On night one of Nick Viall’s season, she received the first impression rose and it was easy to see why. She had so much going for her! Not only was Rachel absolutely gorgeous, but she was also brilliant, ambitious (she worked as an attorney) and off-the-charts charming. She came off as super down to Earth, especially on a night where every new contestant seems to pack in their craziest antics. Nick loved her and so did we.

While Rachel was a fan favorite all season long, Nick ultimately shocked everyone when he sent her packing after Fantasy Suites. Fans the world over were seriously mad when he eventually opted for Vanessa Grimaldi, with whom he broke up not too long after the series was over. Rachel was straight up robbed!

Thankfully, the Bachelor gods are in tune with our needs sometimes; Rachel was named the Bachelorette for season 13. In fact, the announcement came before Nick and Rachel had even split on his season! It was an unprecedented move in Bachelor franchise history. Take it as a sign that she was immensely popular and that Nick had done us wrong. We were getting justice before we even knew that we needed it.

Rachel may not have chosen the fan favorite guy on her own season of The Bachelorette, but we still love her just as much as we did before. She’s a calm present in a sometimes chaotic series universe and we hope to see more contestants like her in the future.
