5. He runs a non-profit

If you were one of the fans who was on the fence about Colton, just check out his non-profit. His work there will quickly make you fall in love with him.

After his time playing football ended, Colton was inspired to start The Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation. The non-profit’s goal is to support patients who have cystic fibrosis. Why cystic fibrosis? Colton became intimately acquainted with the life-threatening disorder after his young cousin, Harper, was diagnosed.

This isn’t just a little side project. The Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation is actually really legit! It’s donated almost “”$100,000 in cash and equipment donations” to patients. If you want to learn more about it, you can visit the non-profit’s website at http://www.coltonslegacy.org/.

While some contestants on The Bachelor or Bachelorette seem to just be media hogs, it’s really refreshing to see a contestant who is actually putting good out into the world. Plenty of his former co-stars and other media personalities have said that Colton is a genuinely good guy and it’s easy to believe that when you start to dive into his non-profit venture.

Hopefully this season Colton will be able to successfully wade through the leagues of women and find one who is there for the right reasons. If he can pick a girl who is also trying to do right in the world, together they can go far and might actually have a shot at making it (and keeping that coveted Neil Lane ring!).
