Every season, there’s at least one “OMG” moment on The Bachelorette, but some of the screw-ups are so bad they are worth revisiting.
Some contestants come on the Bachelorette for love, some arrive at the mansion looking for fame. Others get so drunk they get kicked off the show before the first rose ceremony.
And then there are the contestants who make fans say, “OMG, what were they thinking!?” Here are four “I can’t believe you did that” moments in the history of The Bachelorette, ranked from bad to worst. And no, we’re not including Arie’s on-screen breakup with Becca. Let’s file that under worst breakup — ever.
A questionable tattoo
Nothing says “I’m trying too hard” than a guy who gets a tattoo after one date. Case in point, Kasey Kahl (Ali Fedotowsky’s season) who got a wrist tattoo of a heart and shield — his way of saying he would “guard and protect” Alie’s heart.
Okay, it was sweet and thoughtful, but let’s be honest here. It was borderline creepy.
Bye, Bentley!
Bentley Williams is ranked right up there with the worst Bachelorette villains ever. But his OMG moment was when he started talking smack about Ashley Hebert.
Ashley fell for Bentley right away. But, when she found out that he wasn’t there for the right reasons AND said some rather disparaging things about her, she sent him packing.
Nick tells all
What’s the best way to handle a breakup? Go on (live) national TV and call out the girl who broke your heart. And while that sounds perfectly normal when it comes to reality TV shows, Nick Viall went one step further.
During the After the Final Rose special, Bachelorette Andi Dorfman’s jaw dropped when Nick addressed their time in the Fantasy Suite and asked her, “If you weren’t in love with me, why did you make love with me?”

Normally, contestants don’t talk about what happened behind closed doors, but Nick didn’t hold back. After the show, there were rumors that Andi’s relationship with her final pick, Josh Murray, suffered when Josh found out she slept with Nick.
Grab your BAGGAGE and get out!
Kaylon from Emily Maynard’s season was totally unlikable from the moment he stepped out of a helicopter, forgoing a limo ride with the other guys.
But, when he called Emily’s daughter, Ricky, “baggage” we flipped out.
So did Emily. Watch her tell Kalon to “get the f*ck out” in the somewhat grainy video below. You go, girl!
Stay tuned to see if there’s a major “OMG” moment on Becca Kufrin’s season. The Bachelorette Season 14 premieres May 28 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
