The next Bachelor will make his debut on Good Morning America. Are you ready to see Peter Kraus hand out roses?

It’s no secret that Peter Kraus is the Bachelor 2018, but we were totally expecting Chris Harrison to introduce ABC’s new leading man during the Bachelor in Paradise reunion. Instead, the big announcement will take place on Good Morning America, but we’re not sure when. GMA tweeted out the news on Thursday night then deleted the tweet minutes later, so we’re totally confused.

Are we absolutely sure it’s Peter?

We will be totally shocked if someone other than Peter walks onto the GMA set — whether it’s today or next week. Of course, producers have been trying to trick us into thinking Rachel Lindsay‘s runner-up didn’t get the gig. But we know better — and we can’t wait for the new season to begin in January.

Earlier this week, blogger Reality Steve confirmed that Peter would be introduced as the next Bachelor “soon.” On Thursday, the show’s creator, Mike Fleiss, started sending out cryptic tweets about a “shocking” announcement about the show in an effort to get fans talking.

His tweets led to rumors that the show was going to be canceled. That’s not happening. Fleiss just likes to get everyone buzzing about the Bachelor, that’s all.

It won’t be 100 percent confirmed until he shows his face on TV. However, in addition to Reality Steve‘s confirmation, Peter’s inactivity on social media over the past few days is a major clue.

He was probably busy packing his bags for his trip to Good Morning America studios in New York City. He’ll have plenty of time for social media after he hands out his final rose next year.

Let’s take a moment to gaze at Bachelor Peter Kraus

Keep an eye on the Good Morning America Twitter account — we’re confused as to why they pulled the tweet. Hopefully, we’ll get our first glimpse of the franchise’s 22nd Bachelor star, as promised, on Friday.
