‘Bachelorette’ Rachel Lindsay hints Reality Steve’s final rose spoilers are wrong
By Ruby Maxwell
Bachelorette fans may be in for a big surprise when Rachel Lindsay hands out her final rose on the August 7 finale.
Just when we thought we had it all figured out, Rachel Lindsay is throwing us a curve ball about the Bachelorette season finale. The Dallas attorney wants fans to know the outcome of the final rose ceremony is different from what fans assume.
Considering Reality Steve changed his spoilers mid-season, Rachel may be preparing us for a shocking ending to a rather predictable season. Remember Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock’s season? Steve was certain she picked Brooks — we all know how that turned out. Here’s what Rachel has to say about this season’s finale.
In her most recent People blog, Rachel writes, “Think you know who’s going to pop the question? Guess again.”
The Bachelorette star confirmed months ago that she is engaged, so we know that she doesn’t walk away broken-hearted. However, there seems to be some debate over who she chooses.
Peter, Bryan, or Eric?
Spoilers indicate Eric Bigger goes home after his overnight date and we can’t imagine that’s not true. They have more of a friendship than a romantic relationship.
When the season first started, Reality Steve confirmed that Peter got engaged to Rachel. Weeks later, he changed his spoiler and said Bryan and Rachel got engaged when the final rose ceremony was filmed in May.
Rachel gave Bryan the first impression rose, the first kiss, and seems to be under the chiropractor’s spell all season. She’s clearly smitten with Peter as well, but he made it clear during hometowns that he wasn’t ready to propose.
Really, Rachel?
“Soon you’ll find out which one of these men makes me the happiest fiancee in the world,” Rachel writes. “And which goes through the most brutal break up in Bachelorette history.”
If she breaks up with Peter, we can’t imagine it’s a “brutal” split. When he finally confessed he was falling for Rachel, it felt like he was forced to say that by producers.
It would indeed be a shock if Rachel picked Peter in the end. He doesn’t seem ready to commit. Or he’s just not into the Bachelorette star at all.
And hey, there are rumblings that Peter has already been picked as the next Bachelor, so producers may have pushed him to the final two for a reason.
Rachel wants to get married and have babies, ASAP. That means Bryan would be an obvious choice. He was ready to marry Rachel one minute after they met. Sounds like he was ready to win at any cost.

“Every date, kiss, heartbreak and declaration of love that you’ve watched up ’till now is about to be outdone in the final chapter,” Rachel writes in her blog.
On August 7, we’ll find out if Reality Steve’s revised spoilers about Bryan Abasolo winning Rachel’s final rose are true. Despite her warning that fans should “guess again,” we think Steve got it right.
