Robby Hayes dishes on Corinne’s return to ‘Bachelor in Paradise’

As ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ resumes production, contestant Robby Hayes shares his thoughts about Corinne’s return to ABC’s summer reality show.

One year after getting dumped by The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher,  Robby Hayes flew to Mexico to join Bachelor in Paradise Season 4 cast. Days after Robby, and several other contestants, arrived at the beachfront set filming for the show was suspended due to allegations of sexual misconduct.

On June 20, ABC confirmed that the investigation into contestants Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson’s drunken romp was complete. Now the Bachelor in Paradise production crew has the green light to resume filming. Robby says he isn’t quite sure if he’ll be returning to Mexico with the rest of the cast. However, he has offered up his opinion about Corinne’s return to the show.

Robby currently lives in the L.A. area with Chase McNary (JoJo’s season) and Jef Holm (Bachelorette Season 8 winner). He recently joined forces with Chase to create the clothing line Leisureletics. After Paradise production was halted, Robby returned home and made plans to head to a trade show in Vegas during the weekend of June 23.

Shortly after the announcement was made that production for Paradise will resume, Robby told ET Online that he wasn’t sure if he would be going back or not. Considering he’s already made plans to go to Vegas this weekend, it sounds like it’s all dependent on when ABC needs him back on set in Mexico.

But, c’mon — we all know Robby will be back!

Robby speaks out about Corinne

Robby makes it clear that he didn’t see what the craziness that apparently took place between DeMario and Corinne. He told ET that he was “in the dark” about all of it when the cast was sent home. Obviously, he knows the story now.

More from Bachelor in Paradise

Hayes feels that if Corinne came on the show for the right reasons, the situation that took place on set would never have happened.

He feels that people should go on the show for the right reasons. And that may not have been the cast with Corinne, who admitted that she has a boyfriend (they are still dating).

“If people avoided that and were on the show for the right reasons, we wouldn’t be in this situation we’re in right now,” Robby told ET.

He goes on to say that he doesn’t think she was malicious in her intent, but she “put herself in a situation that she shouldn’t have been in.”

And now the big question — should Corinne come back?

Robby says, “no” — and he feels that way about DeMario, too.

When asked if Corinne and DeMario should be allowed to come back to Paradise, Robby stated,”I don’t think they should.”

However, whether they are part of the show or not, it won’t deter him from heading back to Mexico.

So, will we see Robby on Bachelor in Paradise this season or will he skip it and focus on his business with Chase?

We’re counting on seeing both Robby and Chase on the show, so we’re keeping our fingers crossed.
