14. Bentley Williams

There’s really nothing worse than a liar, unless they’re a lying tease, and then that’s just the worst. Bentley treated Ashely Hebert terribly on her season of The Bachelorette.

Not only was he pretty open about just not being that into her, he was openly insulting. He said some pretty awful things to her, claiming he would rather “swim in pee,” and called her an “ugly duckling.” Yet, he hung around for weeks and weeks, pretending he liked her to her face, and then decimating her in interviews.

Apparently, when Bentley found out he was getting Ashley instead of Emily Maynard he had some real feelings about it, and decided to act like the biggest douche ever. For weeks, he strung her along, courted her and made her feel like he was interested.

Meanwhile, he told producers and fellow contestants that he had no interest in her and wanted to make her cry. Seriously. It was a trainwreck we had to watch coming, and it was worse because the sweet dentist had no idea how terrible he was.

Ashley went on court and then choose the charming J.P.  They got married in 2012 have a young son. Despite Bentley’s awful game playing, Ashley and J.P. are considered one of the franchise’s most successful couples.
