‘Dancing with the Stars’ Week 5: Is Nick Viall Going Home On Disney Night?

Nick Viall faces elimination on Disney Night and he’s counting on votes from Bachelor fans to help him stick around for another week.

The Bachelor star Nick Viall may dance his last dance on Monday night but he’s doing everything he can to avoid elimination on the fifth week of Dancing with the Stars. UPDATE: Find out who went home tonight below. (Spoiler Alert!)

Proof positive that Nick is in it to win it? He shaved off his signature beard so he could have a boyish look during his Disney Night performance. (check out the pic below!) Seriously, Nick — that was a smart move. A bearded, dancing Pinocchio would be pretty weird to watch.

Nick and his partner Peta Murgatroyd have been rehearsing non-stop for tonight’s performance. However, even if they earn a perfect score for their Jazz performance to “I’ve Got No Strings” (Pinocchio) there’s a good chance they will be one of the couples who are in jeopardy on Disney Night.

This week’s elimination is based on a combination of votes from fans and judges scores from last week’s Vegas Night performances. The couple who has the lowest scores/votes from Week 4 will be heading home after their Disney Night performance.

A 50-50 shot for Nick and Peta

Nick has been at the bottom of the leaderboard all season so he’s not expected to stick around much longer. Last week, he tied for last place (30) with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne. Dancing with the Stars fans can expect both Nick and Erika to face elimination on Monday night.

Buddy TV’s John Kubicek doesn’t hold out much hope for Nick as far as winning the Mirrorball Trophy. However, he thinks that Nick has a shot at sticking around for another week. Why? Mostly because Erika Jayne to go home. She doesn’t have the best attitude and her dancing makes Nick look like Fred Astaire if you’re old enough to know who he is.

UPDATE: Nick Viall will move on to Week 6! Host Tom Bergeron announced during the final moments of Monday night’s show that Nick was safe. Erika Jayne was eliminated on Disney Night.
