It is finally happening, Bachelor Nation! ABC officially announced that a season of The Golden Bachelorette will indeed be happening this fall.

Once The Golden Bachelor aired, we all knew that we wanted to see one of these women as the lead on their own season. Now, it is unclear if one of the contestants will indeed be the one leading the charge, but we can only hope!

Here is everything we know so far about the upcoming season of The Golden Bachelorette--including who we would like to see as the queen bee!

All we know about The Golden Bachelorette Season 1

As I mentioned, there is no one cast as the Golden Bachelorette just yet. There are speculations, of course. Ranging from contestant Susan Noles to actress Susan Lucci, we're running the gamut of potential people that might try their hand at a chance of finding love.

As cool as it would be to see Lucci take on the role, I would love to see someone like Susan Noles be the first Golden Bachelorette instead. She is funny, silly, confident, and takes no nonsense--everything we would want from a lead.

Unfortunately, we aren't in the know-how just yet about who is going to be the lead, but time will tell.

Other than waiting for the casting news, ABC has yet to announce a premiere date for The Golden Bachelorette. We do know it is set to air in the fall, but we imagine that a date will come out once we get closer to the summer months.

Right now, ABC has The Bachelorette on its upcoming slate of programs, and presumably, the next season of Bachelor in Paradise. So, hang in there, Bachelor Nation. We will update you with all the latest news as we have it.

Until then, enjoy Joey Grazaidei's season of The Bachelor. It just might be the best one we've had yet!
