There may be trouble in The Golden Bachelor paradise following recent reports that beaus Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are at odds regarding a pre-nup. We are approximately t-minus one week away from the couple's live nuptials on ABC, but things may not be as peachy keen between the two of them.

Of course, this does not come as a shocker considering a scathing interview was recently revealed allegedly outing Gerry as not the wholesome guy we have come to know him as. In The Hollywood Reporter article, Turner's ex-girlfriend stated that Turner wasn't the lonely widow he claimed to be, and that she and him started dating soon after his wife passed away. On The Golden Bachelor, the impression that was given was that Turner had not dated all this time, and that he had been nursing a broken heart since his wife, Toni, had died. He also claimed to be retired, which his ex-girlfriend stated was also not true.

Needless to say, the report was a heartbreaker for all of us that really believed in Gerry's story. Whether or not it is true or holds any merit, there is an aspect of him that is now tainted, and has us questioning his motives, and whether or not he is the nice guy that we were led to believe in all season.

The plot continues to thicken, however, with Gerry and Theresa's live wedding special coming up. A report by Life & Style claims that Theresa may want to sign a pre-nup, but our Golden Bachelor is not so keen on doing so.

In this new report, the unnamed source claims that Theresa was "shocked" to learn the details of the THR report. Furthermore, it states that her loved ones are urging her to sign a pre-nup if she is truly to go ahead with marrying Gerry.

With all this chaos ensuing, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Theresa and Gerry spent the Christmas holiday apart, with their respective families. They also haven't really posted anything about them as a couple in recent days, which leads us to wonder--is there trouble in paradise?

I mean, it is not all that shocking to learn that the two of them are facing adversity, especially in light of the THR report. I don't think anyone wants to find out that the person they love has a whole other side to themselves that they have lied about. Again, these are all alleged remarks, but it does not bode well if you are trying to spend your lives together.

The Golden Bachelor wedding is set to air on ABC on January 4, and as of now, we have not heard anything to the contrary. So, unless something changes, these two are supposed to be tying the knot on live television.
