1. Best moment: Jesse Palmer chat

The Bachelorette moved to Auckland, New Zealand, this week! When they arrive in Auckland, Jenn and Jesse meet in a cafe for a lovely chat and some New Zealand food.

Jesse tells Jenn he has some trivia for her. He mentions that nobody ever eats the food on the dinner dates and says it’s because of his season!

What a break of the fourth wall! Nobody ever acknowledges the fact that the food sitting there is getting cold.

It gets even better when they show us a montage of Jesse shoving food into his mouth while trying to talk to the women on his season. This was such a hilarious moment and gave some much-needed levity to a pretty downer season so far!

2. Worst moment: Sam M.

Jenn takes Sam M on the first one-on-one date in  Auckland. I've been waiting for this date because, like Devin, I'm curious to see when or if Jenn will start to see past the physical attraction.

Because this is The Bachelorette, Jenn and Sam are offered the chance to jump off a building. Sam immediately says “we’ll do it’ and Jenn is upset that he didn’t consult her first and isn’t taking her fear seriously.

This was both the best moment and the worst moment for me.

It was the worst moment because Sam M is so difficult to listen to. Jenn is so uncomfortable that he doesn’t attempt to calm her down! He keeps saying, “No, you’re going to do it.”

But it was the best moment because Jenn stood up for herself and finally gave him some criticism!

Finally, Sam hugs Jenn and says she doesn’t have to do it, and the show plays romantic music over it like he’s some hero. I feel like that’s the bare minimum!

Sigh. We’ll see how this relationship progresses! Or not.
