Alright Bachelor Nation, we have officially completed week two of Jenn Tran's journey as the Bachelorette, and it has been very interesting. The men's claws have started coming out (especially between Dylan, er we mean Devin and Aaron, and tensions are already rising between some of the other men.

It was quite an interesting episode, to say the least, which saw three men being sent home. Did they deserve to go or was the drama from this week's episode of The Bachelorette to blame? Find out below and let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

These contestants were sent home on The Bachelorette Season 21, Episode 2

So, who exactly went home this week? We've got the names and details for you below (and then we'll chat more about what went down leading up to the rose ceremony).

  • Brian Autz: Aesthetics Consultant from Northport, New York
  • Jahaan Ansari: Startup Founder from Newbury Park, California
  • Marvin Goodly: Luxury Event Planner from Orangeburg, South Carolina

As you may recall, Brian became the season's villain during the Season 21 premiere but took a backseat this week and let others take over the role. It was a quick turnaround, if I've ever seen one.

During the episode, Jenn went on two one-on-one dates and two group dates of which Brian attended the first group date. As I mentioned, Brian wasn't really front and center this week, and instead Devin took over when he decided to pull a big no-no during the group date--pulling Jenn aside for quick one-on-one date. Basically, during the group date, he whisked Jenn away and took her for ice cream when she should have been hanging out with everyone. This trend seemed to continue throughout the episode and it rubbed the other contestants in the wrong way. However, it did not persuade Jenn to boot Devin off during the rose ceremony elimination.

A lot of the men were irritated by Devin's behavior including Aaron and Thomas who vocalized their frustrations, but ultimately, it did not result in either of them going home despite the drama. It looks like Jenn is keeping these guys around, and it's unclear if this is for dramatic purposes or if there really is a connection there.

Ultimately, the three men that got sent home weren't involved in the drama and were likely sent home due to a lack of connection and sparks with Jenn. That could have something to do with the way the wildlife photo shoot group date was designed, but at the end of the day, if there are no sparks, then there is no reason to keep someone around.

We'll have to see how the journey continues when The Bachelorette airs a new episode next Monday on ABC at 8 PM EST!
