This week's episode of The Bachelorette started things off with a bang! This episode really felt like a throwback to older seasons, especially the drama amongst the men. We had some good old fashioned stealing time, some tours of Melbourne, and some romantic moments with the frontrunners!

Let's get to the best and worst moments of The Bachelorette Season 21, Episode 2!

The Bachelorette Season 21, Episode 2: Worst moment (The book)

After some pointless arguing, Aaron decides to give Devin a self-help book. This move failed on multiple levels. First of all, was this supposed to be funny, or was Aaron actually intending to give Devin some sincere advice?

It didn't come across as either funny or sincere. If you're going to go after someone on national television, at least try and make it funny! Aaron just comes across as so serious!

Presumably, the idea was to throw back to Tayshia's season when Bennett gave Noah the book on emotional intelligence. That was a super awkward, condescending move, but at least back then, it was surprising and brazen. Having Noah's brother Aaron repeat the move is just stale and unfunny. I think the show can do better in dishing up interesting drama!

The Bachelorette Season 21, Episode 2: Best moment (Marcus and Jenn)

After they go sky diving, Marcus and Jenn get to have dinner in the State Library of Melbourne! This place was so cool. I would've wanted to explore the whole time.

Marcus is a very endearing character. He has calm confidence, which is markedly missing among other contestants. He revealed all the work he has done to become the man he is today, discussing his past in the army and how a grenade injured him in a raid in Afghanistan.

It's rare to see such a conversation on this show, and it was clearly a bonding experience for him to share it with Jenn!
