As we know, the person who receives the very first rose of the season is someone who stands out in all ways. Be it because of their hilarious entrance or because of how they answered all of the Bachelor's questions wonderfully, the person who gets the rose is usually an outstanding person. Lea is certainly no exception to this norm. In fact, we'd say she's the one who stands out from the past recipients of the First Impression Rose.

According to Reality Steve, Lea received her rose after committing an impressive act.

During the first night, Lea opened a special letter that allowed her to steal someone's one-on-one date with Joey whenever she wanted to. This is a pretty powerful ability, as it could come in handy whenever Lea felt like she wasn't getting enough attention from Joey or if she wanted to block the efforts of someone getting closer to him. However, Lea thought using the power would be mean-spirited, so she, instead, burned the letter in the fire.

Joey was so moved by this action that he gave Lea the First Impression Rose. The rest is history!
