Bachelor Nation, do you know of the celebrities that are currently in our fandom?

One celebrity you may be shocked to know watches The Bachelor is none other than Jennifer Love Hewitt, the same talented actress who has starred in amazing titles like I Know What You Did Last Summer, Criminal Minds, and The Client List.

One of Hewitt's most recent roles is in the smash-hit drama series, 9-1-1. And if you've heard the good news about this TV show's upcoming episode, you'll know that our recent Bachelor lead Joey Graziadei is set to star in the episode alongside our host Jesse Palmer.

Of course, this is more than just a coincidence, as our famous actress pulled a couple of strings together to make this Bachelor and 9-1-1 crossover happen.

How Jennifer Love Hewitt got Joey Graziadei on 9-1-1

As reported by Deadline, Jennifer Love Hewitt is a huge fan of The Bachelor. So much so that she attended one of the finales of the ABC dating series. It was there a great idea was birthed.

"The whole crossover episode came about because Jennifer Love Hewitt called me after she went to one of the finales of The Bachelor," 9-1-1 showrunner Tim Menear told Deadline. "She’s a huge fan of The Bachelor and she said, ‘Wouldn’t it be great if the 118 responded to a call at the Bachelor mansion?'"

The Bachelor crew was just as happy to collaborate, too!

Minear told the media outlet that the crew aided in making the episode look similar to a typical episode of the dating series. From the camera angles to the dramatic pauses to even the mansion, where the Bachelor crew could help out, they made it a point to show up.

"They volunteered to show us the ropes about how they make the show, and then when we shot it. We actually brought in the Bachelor crew to shoot the first part of that case, so that it really was The Bachelor," Minear expressed. "And then we go into 9-1-1 world when they have to call 9-1-1. So that’s how it came about. It just seemed like a great idea."

After the idea was pitched and the aesthetic of the episode was formed, all that was left to do was see if two of our Bachelor faves were down to get their acting resumes polished up. And, safe to say, Graziadei and Palmer were more than glad to sign on.
