The Bachelor fans spot hint at who Joey picks with potential engagement ring slip-up

We're inching closer to the finish line on The Bachelor season 28, with lead Joey Graziadei now having to make really difficult decisions as a potential engagement is near. In tonight's episode, the competition goes from six to four which means next week is Hometowns! We're really zooming through this season, aren't we?

Ahead of Week 7, which is tonight's episode, the following women are still in the race for Joey's final rose: Daisy Kent, Jenn Tran, Kelsey Toussant, Maria Georgas, and Kelsey Anderson. He'll have to send home two unlucky ladies this evening, which will no doubt be heartbreaking for those eliminated. But for the women who advance to next week, this part of the season changes everything as Joey will get to meet their families and loved ones in the place they call home. Ahead of the new episode this week, an eagle-eyed Bachelor fan shared a potential slip-up on Reddit to get opinions.

The Bachelor fans discuss Daisy's social media activity

As user ParsleyPrestigious91 shared, Daisy recently posted either a photo or video to her Instagram Story, which shows her with a silver ring on her finger. Though in the photo it looks like it's on her right hand, the user pointed out that phone cameras flip selfies sometimes, depending on the app. So what do The Bachelor fans think? Take a look at the screenshot in the Reddit thread here to inspect for yourself.

Fans aren't sure what to make about Daisy's Instagram Story, which for certain shows her wearing a silver ring. When responding to the original poster's question "Did she show too much?" one Redditor said: "Tbh I think she's wearing rings on her ring finger in her reels intentionally to keep people guessing. Clearly not an engagement ring but people eat it up." Another asked: "I feel like she’s wearing it on purpose??" The general consensus seems to be that while this might not prove Daisy wins in the end, many believe she's being intentional in what she's sharing.

Others pointed out that it couldn't be the engagement ring because in the past, the winners were not allowed to keep their rings during the show airing to avoid spoilers. Unless something has changed, some fans aren't convinced Daisy would even have the ring if she wins the season.

UPDATE 2/27/2024: In a surprising move, Reality Steve has just backtracked on his original reported winner of The Bachelor season 28. In an Instagram post, which you can see below, he says he was incorrect when announcing Daisy Kent as the winner. According to him, Kelsey Anderson is actually the winner and is engaged to Joey. Woah!

Of course, if you keep up with The Bachelor spoilers like we do, you'll know that Daisy does win in the end! She and Joey get engaged, according to Reality Steve, who reports:

"Just like every season, people will question, people will doubt, and contestants will post stuff on social media to throw fans off. Happens every season. This one will be no different. But come finale night, this is what you’ll see. Joey and Daisy got engaged in Tulum, Mexico at the end of the season. Obviously the finale won’t air until mid-March so who knows what can happen in the next four months. But this is how the season ended."

At this point in the season, it might be surprising to hear that Daisy wins in the end considering the fact that she seems to be having doubts and cold feet. Is she ready for engagement? Well, apparently she is! So whether or not she is rocking an engagement ring on Instagram, we know she does end up with Joey at the end of the season.
