It's always a fun time when the lead of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette announces their return following the conclusion of their season's filming. This is the case for our next and newest Bachelorette, Jenn Tran.

Earlier this week, she took to social media to announce "proof of life" with a series of pictures declaring she has wrapped up filming, and is now waiting for the world to see how her journey will unfold. Of course, the wait is a bit long given her season doesn't air until July 8 and it June is just about to begin.

Nonetheless, I'm so excited she is back, and *hopefully* engaged to her forever person.

Jenn Tran's season of The Bachelorette went international

When Jenn's season does air, you will be surprised to see a couple of big changes. Firstly, the first night of the season, which is infamously known for the limo entrances, does not take place at the Bachelor mansion. Instead, ABC mixed things up for Jenn's season and did the first night at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California.

Following the first night, the season jets off to international waters for the rest of the season. They don't actually stay put in California for a while as seasons in the past have done.

This is very different than seasons past, and certainly makes things interesting for Jenn's season. It is unclear why these decisions were made, but everything about Jenn's season so far has been unlike anything before.

Along with her being the first-ever Asian-American Bachelorette, she is also taking on a season that is very different with its filming locations. Furthermore, the promo released earlier this week was also very different than ones in the past.

A lot of the viewers noticed it was more light-hearted and fun, and even took on a strong likeness to shows like Love Island. I don't know about the rest of you but there is something laid-back about Jenn's season already. I'm really hoping it bodes well for her and translates as something fun and exciting for viewers.

Luckily, we will know soon enough!

The Bachelorette Season 21 premieres on ABC on Monday, July 8 at 8 PM EST.
