It's finally that time of the season when fans are predicting who might be the next lead for the next installment of our Bachelor franchise TV titles. Specifically, The Bachelorette!

There are many top picks that Bachelor Nation has been eyeing, including Olivia Lewis from The Bachelor season 27. However, Maria Georgas seems to be the talk of the town, as everyone who is watching the current season of The Bachelor notices how she is everything anyone could ever want in a new lead. She's opinionated, daring, and, most importantly, a contestant who knows how to navigate through finding love in such a unique environment.

All in all, Maria seems to be a fan-favorite. But will that translate well for the lead of our next season of The Bachelorette? Here are three reasons why we think so!

Warning: This article contains The Bachelor season 28 spoilers.

Maria Georgas is great TV!

Be it because she's in the drama or because she's just lurking in the background saying hilarious one-liners, fans always find themselves looking for Maria because of her big personality which many would say brings fresh air to this show.

"Agree, they need a bachelorette with some fire next time around," one Reddit comment read. Another agreed with the sentiment and even made a bold comment stating, "Yes thank you!!!!! i feel like people on this thread are scared of somebody with a personality."

The last Bachelorette lead that was outspoken similar to Maria was Katie Thurston and, though her season was received with mixed feelings, it brought in good viewership. Seems to us that fans do like those with a little more personality and a little spice to them!

Fans think Maria is favored by production

Sometimes the signs of who will be our next lead are written in the cameras and the post-production edits. Because of this, fans think Maria is one of the few contestants that the production wants fans to remember the most, as she is always seen as a person who is confident and a leader.

"Yes. I think Maria will be bachelorette because she’s the only one who could lead the show," a Reddit fan expressed. "I’m not sure that Daisy, Jenn, Kelsey, Lexi, Rachel, etc could hold their own and lead a season. Maria has charisma like HB (Hannah Brown) and Katie."

Another fan even agreed with our belief that Maria is very similar to Katie, stating, "I think she’s getting the Katie edit. An outspoken 'bold' girl who is unpopular in the house but isn’t a villain and appeals to the audience."

JOEY GRAZIADEI, MARIA
THE BACHELOR - Ò2802Ó - Joey kicks things off with the first group date where wedding bells ring and stakes are higher than ever. Then, the first one-on-one date takes love to new heights, and Joey discovers which women have the bravery and stamina for lasting partnerships. MONDAY, JAN. 29 (8:00-10:03 p.m. EST), on ABC. So far, Maria has appealed to those who have been bullied, those who are misunderstood, and those who just want to have a good time. It's safe to say that production knew that at least one fan would find something in common with her, hence why they're showing she's extremely multifaceted and very relatable.

While we're not explicitly saying production has favorites, we (and fans would agree) believe that history speaks for itself.

Maria is seemingly single!

By the looks of Maria's Instagram, @maria.georgas, Maria is single and ready to mingle! Her social media is void of any pictures involving her and a romantic partner, and while that might be because she wants to avoid dropping any spoilers about The Bachelor, it also might be because she's not in a relationship.

Based on Reality Steve spoilers, we know that, although Maria almost makes it to the end, our Bachelor lead Joey Graziadei ends up with Daisy Kent as his final pick. Having this in mind, Maria may very well be still looking for love.

Whether or not she finds the one in the next couple of weeks remains to be seen. But for now, she's living her best life as a woman free of care and, more importantly, seemingly free of commitment.

Of course, for every reason we have as to why Maria Georgas would work as our next Bachelorette lead, we also have a few reasons why she wouldn't be the best pick. Even so, the signs do look pretty favorable for Maria. Hopefully, Bachelor Nation's biggest wish will come true!
