Maria Georgas, the 29-year-old executive assistant from Canada, caught Joey's eye from the moment she stepped out of the limo. Since then, it has been a whirlwind journey for the both of them and their forming love story.

It was obvious, in many ways, that Maria would make it pretty far into The Bachelor journey. However, Maria's time on the show so far has been nothing short of dramatic and entertaining. Her connection with Joey has never been in question, but what did present itself as a problem were the issues she was having with the other women in the house.

I will say that a lot of that drama wasn't really her fault, and it was truly just other people taking things a bit too far. And by other people, I mean Sydney Gordon and Leah Cayana, who were sent home by Joey. He opted to take Maria's side, and I commend him for seeing the right side of things.

But things did take an interesting turn during last week's episode when Maria made certain that she would get a rose for hometown date. She essentially threatened to go home, knowing that Joey's greatest fear in this is falling in love with someone who doesn't feel the same as him. She got herself a hometown date, but will that mean she ends up as Mrs. Graziadei? Find out below!

MAJOR The Bachelor Season 28 spoilers below!

Here's how Maria's journey ends on The Bachelor Season 28

While we haven't reached the end of the season just yet, we do have some rumors confirming Maria's fate at the end of the season. These rumors come from Reality Steve who is usually fairly accurate when it comes to spoilers, except for this season.

Initially, he shared that Daisy Kent is the winner whom Joey gets engaged to at the end of the season. However, recently, it has been revealed that Daisy is not his fiance, and instead, he proposes to...*drum roll*...KELSEY ANDERSON! Daisy was the runner-up but is allegedly not the one who ends up with Joey.

So, Bachelor Nation, if all of this is to be true, it means that Maria will not make it past hometown week, and she along with Rachel will be sent home before the big finale. It is unclear why Joey will send her home, but we can make some guesses. Maybe Joey has a bad hometown date with Maria and her father, whom she is very close to. Or perhaps, Joey realizes that Maria put him under a lot of pressure last week and it ultimately turns him off from getting down on one knee for her.

You will need to tune in to find out how this journey progresses by watching Hometown Dates this Monday, March 4th at 8 PM EST on ABC. Don't miss it--it will be a doozy!
